Bloomberg Connects App
Launching in January 2025, the Musashino Art University Museum and Library will participate in Bloomberg Connects, a free arts and culture app for museums, art galleries and other cultural facilities around the world.
The app not only introduces the collections of our museum and folk art gallery, as well as past exhibitions, but also allows visitors to experience the atmosphere of the library, which is normally inaccessible due to its nature as a university library.
In addition, the app has a comprehensive translation function, so not only visitors in Japan but also app users around the world can enjoy the museum’s digital guide anytime, anywhere. By downloading this app, you can feel closer to art and culture not only at MAU M&L but also around the world.
ーLibrary architecture explanation video by architect Sou Fujimotoー
The library building is one of the early masterpieces of architect Sou Fujimoto, who is attracting attention as the venue design producer for the Osaka Expo 2025, scheduled to be held in April. This app features a video explaining the library architecture by Fujimoto himself. You can see everything from the design concept to explanations of each point. Why not try wandering through the “forest of books” created by Fujimoto?
