Our museum has, through extensive research over fifteen years, formed an archive of original films and prints by the photographer Kiyoji OTSUJI as well as books in his collection. This exhibition explores the Otsuji’s essence based on the point of view acquired through our research and our detailed inspection of his original films in particular. At the same time, it is an experiment in exploring the nature of art archiving and what can be discovered through it.
